IMPULSES
OF THE
TALENT MANAGEMENT ACADEMY
SOMETIMES ONE SENTENCE IS ENOUGH TO CHANGE A LIFE
An impulse is an impulse, a thought impulse. There are thought-provoking impulses that change life or also the way we think about certain things.
How do I function, how does the world function, how can we still look at it. We from the TALENT MANAGEMENT ACADEMY think it is worth to spend some energy on it.
But BEWARE!!! Can lead to change.
On this page you will always find our current weekly impulse above and then all of the impulses we have published so far.
Even the longest journey begins with the first step.
Translate the message for yourself.
When will you take the first step on a long journey?
Where do you want to go?
For those who didn’t follow our weekly impulses from the beginning, here are all previous impulses:
If you want to be happy all the time, you have to change often
When was the last time you changed?
What exactly would you like to change?
What could possibly be a positive motivation for a change?
The meaning of the communication is the response you get
What crosses your mind first when reading this?
How do you recognize that your communication is successful?
In how far do you have influence on his?
You can’t change others, you can only change the way you treat them
What would you have to change to get a different result?
Love it, change it or leave it?
Do you have an idea how you would like to deal with one or the other differently in the future?
Everyone has all the resources for change already within them
What resources / skills do you have?
If everything is already there to change, what is it about you that doesn’t?
Do you have to be perfect in everything before you apply it?
There is no failure, there is only feedback
What does failure mean to you?
How do you handle failure of yourself and others?
What helps you, if you do not succeed as expected?
Every behavior has a positive intention
Assuming this is true, what would that mean to you?
Do people who do bad things also have a good intention? If so, for whom?
What does it help you if you recognize the good intention of your counterpart?
What does it help you if you recognize the good intention of your counterpart?
Choices are better than no choices.
What do you understand about “having choices”?
How is that related to freedom of decision-making?
How do you create space for choices?
Our life is not a problem that we have to solve, it is a riddle that we live.
How do you live with one and the other?
What does it mean for you to live a riddle?
One or the other, or both, what does that do to you?
The annoying thing about anger is that you harm yourself without benefiting others.
What annoys you?
How does it feel when you get angry?
What is your recipe for dealing with anger?
THE 4 INDIAN LAWS OF SPIRITUALITY
“The person who meets you is the right one”.
“What happens is the only thing that could happen”.
“Every moment that something begins is the right moment”.
“What is finished is finished”.
The purest form of madness is to leave everything as it is and hope that something changes.
How do you think about that?
How can change work well?
And when are you ready to change?
The death of the ego will be the beginning of your true life.
“Does the ego really have to die?
What exactly is different then?
Can you perceive your ego?”
Only live in the present moment. Not anywhere else.
When do you live “here and now”?
How do you feel in that moment?
What disturbs you to live in the present moment?
Be – do not try to become.
“What does it mean for you, to be?
What could be meant by trying to become?
Be and if it is only for 2 seconds and perceive.”
Respect your uniqueness and stop comparing yourself. Relax into your being.
What crosses your mind first when reading this?
How do you define your PERSONAL UNIQUENESS?
What is important for you to relax?
Everything a person can do can be learned. Everything is achievable if the task is divided into sufficiently small steps.
“What would you like to achieve, perhaps, great unattainable?
What would be your small steps then?
Be happy about each of the steps and not only at the end.”
Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.
How does it work for you?
When are you in your own stimulus-response-pattern?
What helps you to enlarge the development space?
There is nothing that is good or bad, we make it what is good or bad.
“When do you evaluate?
What is your reason to evaluate?
What happens if you don’t rate a few things?”
Kind of fun to do the impossible!
When do you believe that something is impossible?
How do you behave then?
And if it were possible, what next?
If what you’re doing isn’t working, do something else.
“What if that doesn’t work either?
What happens if you then do something else?
Could that possibly lead to a different result?”
If we did all the things we are capable of, we would literally astound ourselves.
What does it mean to you?
In what kind of situations is it useful for you to believe in you and your potential?
In how far did you surprise yourself in the past?
Imagine a world where everyone uses one hundred percent of their potential.
“What exactly is your potential?
What percentage do you think you’re using now?
How do you get to the hundred percent?”
When you are angry count to ten before you speak. If you are very angry, count to one hundred.
Do you remember situations you ran in without any counting?
If so, what exactly was it that pushed your buttons?
What happened thereafter?
Whoever wants something finds ways. Who does not want something finds reasons.
How can you tell if you want something?
When do you have reasons not to want something?
What is it like when you say no and then I don’t want it?
You must be the change you wish to see in the world.
What does it mean to you?
What kind of change do you have here in mind?
What have you successfully changed so far?
Two things give the soul the most power, trust in the truth and trust in oneself.
What about your trust in the truth?
Do you trust yourself and how can you tell?
Notice and feel how that feels.
Actually, I am quite different. But I so rarely have time to show it.
In how far this statement is related to you?
What is hindering you to be “different”?
What do you need to show this?
Falling is neither dangerous nor a disgrace, staying down is both
When exactly would you say you fell down?
Remember, how many times have you gotten back up?
When you stand up, how does it feel?
Everything is beautiful, if you look at it with love
How about a free trial? What would be the impact on your relations, on you? How would you be seen by others?
Nothing is more relaxing than accepting what is coming
Assuming that’s true, what does that do to you?
Why might this assumption be relaxing?
Observe what it does to you when you allow it.
Out beyond the ideas of right and wrong there is a field. I’ll meet you there.
How can you reach this field?
What are you experiencing at present in your daily life?
If it were possible, what would happen when meeting there?
What you do not give up you have never los
Have you ever given up anything?
Wouldn’t it be nice if you didn’t lose anything?
What do you have to do to do that?
There is no progress without affirming the existing state of affairs.
What does this mean in terms of leadership?
How can you appreciate the existing state of affairs?
What motivates you to advance progress from there?
No person was in your life without a reason. One was a gift, the other a lesson.
Take a look at the people in your life.
Notice especially those who are your gift.
Focus especially on these people.
Also remember the lessons you have learned.
There is nothing like a dream to create the future.
What are you dreaming of for your future?
How can your dream become real?
What do you need for realization?
Don’t think so often about what you lack, but about what you have.
What would be different if you look at your world like this?
Take consciously what you have everything.
Are you really missing something?
Spend some time alone every day.
How exactly do you do this?
How often do you spend time alone?
What’s in for you?
The paths we take are sometimes stony and incomprehensible, but we should give them a meaning and draw new strength from them.
Have you ever tried this?
What sense could stony paths have?
If that is so, what force could arise?
There is only one proof for ability: Action.
How do you think about that?
Where can you be a role model?
Whom do you adore for her / his ability?
Be patient with each day of your life
How is it with your patience?
Is it endurance or acceptance with you?
If you had that, what would be different?
We cannot avoid the fact that each of our actions that we take has an impact on the whole.
What does it mean for us all?
In how far may this have influence over you?
Where could be the chances here?
What you think today, you will be tomorrow.
What do you think about yourself and the world today?
What could you be tomorrow?
If that’s the case, what would you think differently?
Our life is made of love and to give up love means to give up life.
And what’s about you?
What kind of experiences have you made?
Where is your focus in life?
Our true purpose is to be happy.
Are you happy?
What would have to be different to be happy?
What exactly makes you happy?
Everything exists, and moves under one law: life.
How do you think about it?
How do you define “your” law?
What do you need for a good life?
The most difficult time in our lives is the best opportunity to develop inner strength.
Take a look, what strength have you already developed?
When was it difficult before and what came out of it?
Will this knowledge help you in the next difficult situation?
Freedom means, that you do NOT necessarily need to do everything, like other people are doing it.
How often do you compare yourself with other people?
What supports you to do it in your way?
What makes you unique?
Even the longest journey begins with the first step.
Translate the message for yourself.
When will you take the first step on a long journey?
Where do you want to go?
