Last week Dagmar gave you the task to pay attention to the signals of your body and in this context to observe your mechanisms in connection with emotions and the associated body feeling.
Welcome to the Emotional Connectivity Podcast of the Talent Management Academy!
Time, time can be measured in seconds, minutes, hours…. Or nanoseconds.
But then, time passes at different speeds. At a party, 3 minutes are over with a snap of my fingers.
The washing machine is ready and I have to wait 3 minutes until I can open it, takes forever.
How is that exactly? Is there anything I can do about it?
Observe yourself when you want to do something quickly and you constantly look at the clock, usually the time is not enough.
Do it consciously differently, you want to do something quickly and you don’t even look at the clock.
Is there a perceived difference, when is the time longer and when shorter?
Example:
I play a little game against my coffee machine.
I press the coffee button and then I have to prepare my tablets. I try to take the tablets before the coffee is ready.
Here is the phenomenon, if I keep an eye on the coffee machine while preparing the tablets and see the progress on the scale I am always slower than the machine, if not then I am easily finished before the machine.
Observe yourselves in your situations, how is it with you?
Can you influence your perception of time? If so, how.
Have fun with it in your world.
